London: Methuen & Co Ltd, 1966. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Irving Copi's copy with his signature on the front endpaper. Near Fine in a Very Good jacket, unclipped (35s. net), toned and rubbed at the edges. Orange cloth with a black ink panel and gilt lettering on the spine. Square and firmly bound, foxed at the endpapers, clean otherwise. Strawson's work that "sorts out, and where necessary reconstructs or modifies, the main lines of argument in such a way as to make Kant's great work less of an isolated mystery and to show it as a live and powerful contribution to the philosophical investigation of fundamental issues.
