(no date) Suggest 1919. Pictorial wrappers (that is, paper covers) pp. 24 inclusive of the wrappers (213 x 141 mm) Illustrated. Commences with June 28, 1914 (the assassination of Archduke Francis Ferdinand at Serajevo, Bosnia) and ends with November 11, 1918 (Armistice: cessation of hostilities at 11 am). Centrespread is a pictorial record, in colour, of War Medals And Decorations. A legend at the foot of each page upholds the pre-eminence of Bovril (centrespread legend is Bovril is British to the Backbone) while the rear wrapper has a touching pictorial advertisement captioned Give Her [new mother] Bovril. Fine bright copy.
