Bronze and white dust jacket with color illustration, black lettering; white spine with black lettering. 164 pp. 270 bw plates, x (10) color plates. "Geofrrey Freeman started collecting Bow Porcelain in 1973. His collection currently comprises 270 pieces, all of which are illustrated in this volume (10 in colour). The collection is unique in character in that it contains examples of all types of porcelain made at Bow, with the exception of biscuit. The volume includes a short outline history of the factory, with notes on some of the personalities connected with it, together with an explanation of the dating system used within the text. The pieces themselves are dealt with in eight sections by style of decoration and are arranged in chronological order, each section preceded by an introductory text." (dj).
