About This Item
New York: G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1929. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Albert Schaffenberg. The interior of the book is clean and tight. There is a gift inscription to a former owner on the fixed front end paper dated 1929, and a few pages have small marks but there are no other problems. The blue cloth covers are fresh, with no marks or discolourations. The spine shows wear to the top and bottom, and a long spine fold. There are two imperfections to the front cover -- looks like two narrow glue bubbles, but these are not very noticeable. The dust jacket is not price-clipped, but is only in good condition, with heavy edgewear, chips, and nicks of paper missing from the top and bottom edges of the spine. The jacket is now in a protective plastic cover, and looks shabby but respectable. A scan is available on request
