I. / June 4, '87" Snare was the Captain of the Schnooer "Susie P. Oliver", built in Bucksport, Maine and transported salt [to or from] Curacao, West Indies in the late 1800's. 341pp, [5] bound in original illustrated green cloth, with binding and hinges tight, gilt on spine bright, pages age darkened [not brittle], illustrated throughout. Covers show bumped corners and light rubbing.
