The dust jacket spine ends have some light bumping and beginning wear. "Michael Blumlein, M. D. (June 28, 1948 - October 24, 2019) was an American fiction writer and a physician. He attended medical school at the University of California, San Francisco and worked as a practicing MD and member of the faculty at UCSF for decades.
