Lacks dj, likely published wo. Front endpaper features map of Allied Air War Theater in Europe, WWII; back Hannibal's campaigns to pastedown and SE Asia during Vietnam conflict to free side. Xiv pp prelim material, 484 numbered pp, plus two blank. List of maps, author's intro, list of major wars covered, beginning with Greek-Persian Wars of Antiquity, up through Iran-Iraq, Grenada, and other 80s wars; list of Axis and Allied codenames of WWII; entries arranged by alphabet; maps. Condition notes: light wear to boards with corners bumped and spine ends rolled. Inside all clean, tight and bright. A nice copy of an impressive compendium of mostly Western Civ-oriented conflicts. Furrowed Brow Books was established in 2020. The bookstore's owner, Paul Purman, grew up in an old farmhouse full of books. Paul had been providing online booksales since 2008 through several popular online sales venues. In 2021 Paul was accepted as a member of the Independent Online Booksellers' Association (IOBA), and graduated from the annual Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (CABS-Minnesota).

Furrowed Brow Books' goal is to offer an eclectic selection, while providing specialty offerings in Eastern Orthodoxy and Byzantine civilization, theology, Christian mysticism, science fiction/fantasy (Inklings emphasis), and military history.
