Both books are grey cloth with grey pictorial jackets, picture of Bragg on covers. 421pp./298pp., maps, bibliographies and indexes. Volume I was intended to be the first of two volumes covering the life of the Confederacy's most problematic general. This work carries Bragg through the defeat at Murfeesboro in January 1863. Volume II continues through the staff appointment in Richmond and Bragg's final days as a private citizen.. First Edition Thus. Hard Cover. As New/As New. 6 x 8".
