J. M. Dent & Sons Ltd., 1934. Hardcover. Good/Good. 1934. First Edition. 236 pages. Pictorial dust jacket over red cloth with white lettering. Contains black and white photographic plates. Pages are mostly clear, with light tanning and foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper, with a few small nicks along text block edge. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout. Plates are bright and clear, with slight tanning to edges. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with slight bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Faint tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Clipped jacket has light surface wear, with small tears and creasing to spine ends, corners and edges. Lightly tanned and foxed overall.
