The Bricker amendment fight was one of the major constitutional struggles over the control of US Foreign policy in this century. The author places the controversy in the larger framework of the 20th Century so that his analysis of the Eisenhower presidency and the controversy itself helps one understand the more recent fights over the War Powers Act and the Iran-Contra fiasco. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
