About This Item
Macadam Cage Pub, 1997. First Edition. Oversize Paperback. Fine. XL. Book is in excellent condition, as new. Binding is solid and square, covers have sharp corners, exterior shows no blemishes, text/interior is clean and free of marking of any kind. Huge book: 10 1/2"" x 13 1/2"" 296 pages with a bump to the lover front cover as the only flaw, though text block is slighly wavy, could be publisher's error, as there are no other signs of moisture contact. Filled with b&w photos thoroughout, some full page, most very large. Contents are a series of questions, chronologically arranged, such as When did the construction of the main cables begin? Do the tops of the towers actually move? Did they really consider putting a second deck on the bridge? etc. Pages 157 -- 287 are Highlights from Annual Reports from the Highway and Transportation District Staff and Board of Directors. The final seciton details the Seismic retrofit and design. Impressive volume.
