About This Item

New York, NY Henry Holt & Company, 1989. Hardcover First Edition (1989); Second Printing. Near Fine in Very Good DJ: The Book shows a small, rather faint coffee stain at the top of the fore-edge; a bit of faint discoloration at the upper front panel; else flawless; the binding is square and secure; the text is clean. Free of any ownership names, dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, plates, or labels. A handsome, nearly-new copy, structurally sound and tighly bound, showing only a couple of very minor flaws. Very close to 'As New'. The DJ shows light wear to extremities, with a one-inch closed tear and several tiny tears along the top edge, which have been neatly repaired with cellophane tape from the back side; mild rubbing; a small scuffed area near the bottom of the front panel; the price has not been clipped. An attractive reading copy. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. (8.5 x 5.75 x 1 inches). 240 pages. Language: English. Weight: 1 pounds. 15.3 ounces. First Edition (1989); Second Printing. Hardback with DJ.
