About This Item
This review copy of May Sarton's second book has a date that precedes the 1946 copyright date. The plot follows the lives of a Belgium family (Sarton was born in Belgium) as they recover from the first World War, through the interwar years, up to 1939 as Nazi Germany comes to power.
Binding has slight fading and some soiling, otherwise clean. No internal markings. Hinge is tight. Dust jacket has fraying and chips to spine ends and some moderate bumping and chips to edges. Not price clipped. Overall in very good condition.
All proceeds benefit The Friends of the San Anselmo Library. No expedited shipping outside of the United States.
