Decorative endpapers, previous owner's bookplate on front free endpaper (glue has creased pager on page). Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. 8vo. Novel set in 1946, in which English screenwriter, Gregory Dawson, goes to a seaside hotel in Cornwall to finish a screenplay where an accidental meeting with two people from his distant past prompts him to explore his memories of his youth in Bruddersford (a fictional Northern town) between October 1912 and June 1914.
