Green cloth with gilt titles to spine and front board. Some discolouration to rear board of Volume One. Heads of spines with some chipping to cloth, else very little wear to boards. Some foxing throughout, heaviest on endpapers of Vol. 2. Small open tear to final ad of Vol 1, else a tight, clean and attractive set. very good An in depth work, issued over several month, examining the variation of the Noctuae (now Noctuidae) family of moths. The descriptive catalogue presents hundreds of genera with their species and varieties. Each volume with an attractive illustrated title page. 1891
