Paris: Henri Ernst, 1920. First edition. Hardcover. Three portfolios in marbled boards, brown and black boards respectively with contents loose as issued laid-in. Very good. Folios, 38.5 x 28.5 cm. All contents in French, and retrospectively -- 4 page text Espagnoles by J. Villaba (30 plates with locals); Finnois & Siberiens, 4 pages text with map (28 plates with locals); Russes Tartares Armeniennes (40 plates with locals and hand written translation of their explanations in English). Each page of the latter housed in plastic covers and backed by stiff board sheets. Each portfolio with front cover paper label, surface and backstrip wear, Siberian portfolio spine reinforced in red cloth, and all portfolios with functional, original cloth ties. Plates generally clean and bright.
