Illustrated end papers. Limited/signed numbered: 157/250. In illustrated dust-jacket (with price intact) and publisher's maroon slipcase. Toledano A63b. SIGNED by Edward Gorey on the limitation page. Slipcase has slight wear at corners, else Fine. Laid in is a Gotham Book Mart and Dodd, Mead & Company post card invitation to the publication celebration, with Gorey's illustration titled 'Innocence, on a Bicycle of Propriety, carrying the Urn of Reputation safely over the Abyss of Indiscretion'. The post card is addressed and stamped, and has a small water spot and small hand stamp letters and numbers on the image.
