Hammond Hammond,, [1947]. 8vo., First UK Edition, with a portrait frontispiece, some light offsetting from fold-ins to free endpapers; brown holland, gilt back, a very good, bright, clean copy in unclipped dustwrapper. With the trade ticket of Caxton Bookshop of Romford, Essex on front paste-down. The US edition was first published in December 1945. The UK edition is scarce in this condition.
