Hardcover. 20x 16.2cm, new editions, 4 volumes in One, 122 & 151 & 120 & 117pp., 4 title pages, with 35 illustrations, printed in double columns, bound in half dark brown sheep, gilt spine title ("Mrs. Ewing II"), double band rules, marbled boards, edges rubbed, very clean internally, a very good to fine sound copy (chds). - "The Brownies" is illustrated with 10 illustrations by George Cruikshank. "Jan of the Windmill" and "Six to Sixteen" are illustrated by Mrs. William Allingham (H. Patterson). "Mrs. Overtheway's Remembrances" is illustrated by J.A. Pasquier and J. Wolf.
