London: Cassell and company, 1891. First edition (hardback). 8vo (22cm by 14cm), [viii], 70pp. 6 plates. Original blue cloth, gilt titling to the front board. Light rubbing of the binding, minor foxing of the preliminary pages, else the book is in very good condition. Signed and inscribed by the author on the verso of the rear free endpaper, and there is an inscription to the half-title page, which may also be by the author.
