The wrappers are chipped and some pieces are missing, there are archival tape repairs to tears on the edges of some wrappers, the rear wrapper of volume 68/69 is missing, the text of volume 72/73 shows some light browning to the text - the remainder of the text and fine full page plates are all bright and clean; overall a tight copy in very good condition.. Bulletin de la Société des Amis des Sciences naturelles de Rouen (VII serie), volumes 66-73. This journal presents publications on the natural history of the Ronen region. The eight volumes presented here appear in four thick volumes as issued by the publisher. There are numerous articles on the botany and floras of the region as well as some articles on entomological themes. One well illustrated article on trees is 'Les Vieux Arbres de la Normandie: Etude Botanico-Historique' by de Kerville. This is a very heavy set that weighs 11 pounds. The cost of shipping to France will be US$72 (there is no cheaper way to ship it). The cost of shipping within the USA via media mail is $10. No ownership marks. One front wrapper has a small number written on the top outer corner. As the pages are uncut and unopened in this work and the bindings are weak, it is recommended that the set be bound in cloth. Rare set seldom offered.
