A study on the history of the origin and decline of the traditional practice of bundling, which sees the wrapping of a couple together in bed, often with a board between the two, during courting. Thought to have originated in the Netherlands or the British Isles, it became common practice in colonial United States. The first edition of this work, by Henry Reed Stiles, American physician and doctor. In the original publisher's binding with blue boards, more commonly seen in the brown boards variant. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally sound with shelf wear, bumped to head and tail of spine and extremities, general light soiling, chipped to tail of spine, back-strip now laid down. Internally, binding is generally firm. Few spots scattered to the occasional leaf. Very Good
