Circa 1902 Undivided Reverse Monochrome Postcard, Depicting Burg von Osten ("Castle of the East" or "Eastern Castle"). The Postcard is postally used (Mailed), with very light edge and corner wear. The message was written on the Face or Picture side of the card, as was typical on "Undivided Reverse Postcards", where messages on the Address Side or Reverse, were prohibited by UPU Postal Regulation. It was mailed on 2 February 1902, from Nürnberg, Bavaria (Now a German state) to Paris, France. It was franked with a 10 Pfennig Bavarian definitive stamp, tied with a very nice Nürnberg CDS Cancel. There is a partial Receiving CDS from Paris just below.
