About This Item

Austin, Texas, USA: Steck-Warlick Company, 1969. BZ4 - A trade paperback facsimile reprint edition book with a slipcase in very good condition with a slipcase in good+ condition. An unread, tight, clean, sound copy in blue wraps with black printing on the spine and black printing and graphics on the front with very minor overall shelf wear primarily in the form of some very, very light fading on the spine plus there is some very, very slight darkeing of the paper. The slipcase shows some heavy edge wear with patches of board showing (0.5" and 0.75") on the top plus there is some scattered soiling of the paper covering. This is a facsimile of a rare edition of a Texas almanac originally published in 1879 in Houston, Texas. It is notable for the insight it provides into Texas at that time through both its advertisements and the articles included. With an introduction by Dorman H. Winfrey. 161p.. Reprint Edition. Trade Paperback with Slipcase. Very Good/No Jacket as Issued. 5.25"x7.5".
