About This Item
Oxford: B. H. Blackwell, 1916. First edition. Only 250 copies printed. His uncommon first book -- a selection of poetry published as number 7 in Blackwell's "Adventurers All" series of "young poets unknown to fame." Small 8vo cream paperwraps with lower and fore edges yapped (i.e., overhanging) and printed labels to front and spine; 51 pages plus one-page publisher's ads. Slight loss at base of spine, spine label a little rubbed affecting tips of few letters, covers lightly soiled and slightly edge worn. Still, about very good for this fragile production. Scarce volume of verse from the author of BRAVE NEW WORLD.
