Cowboy poetry, tall tales and history of Cimmaron, New Mexico dedicated to "The cowpunchers, prospectors, indian chiefs, texas rangers, scouts old timers, rancheros, pioneers, Mexican vaqueros and trappers." Introduction by J. Frank Dobie. Two additional poems are handwritten on the front endpapers and ffp in ink and signed to the previous owner with greetings from "Katie and Fred of the Cimmaron." Front endpaper has been trimmed below the poem and greeting. Text is clean, tight and unmarked. Dark blue cloth boards with silver-stamped title and sillouette of a rearing horse and rider are bumped and rubbed. Oversized book. Size: Folio - over 12" - 15" tall. Dedication By Author.
