About This Item

Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 1920. Second Edition. Hardcover. G- (Ex-art library with moderate wear all around; marks on spines; i.d. marks on book block edges and outermost pages, incl. rear pockets; heavy wear with some tears at heads of spines; title blocks are worn; vol. 2 has tear at heel of spine; vol. 1 has slight watermarks at one top corner; pages are generally aging only lightly overall, with clear BW plates.). 2 vols. Olive cloth with vellum spines, brown title blocks on spines, gilt letters and decorations on spines and covers; gilt top edges; 559 total pp., BW illus. and drawings. The full two-volume set of this architectural study. The first edition was prepared in 1912; and so in this one, Jackson addressed as many of the WWI-related changes as he knew. Note that this is an original print copy and not an e-book or other facsimile printing. Uncommon, to find as a set.
