Schneider, Otto J. (American, 1875-1946) PORTRAIT OF C. C. LANGDELL. Etching, not dated. Edition size not known. Signed by Schneider in pencil. Christopher Columbus Langdell (1826-1906), was a Professor at, and Dean of the Harvard Law School, noted for the introduction of the "case method" into the teaching of law. The Law School's main builing is named Langdell Hall in his honor, attesting to his influence and importance as an educator and adminsitrator. 19 x 15 5/8 inches. In excellent condition.
