B&W Illustrations; This book is in Near Fine condition and has a Very Good dust jacket. The book and its contents are in generally clean, bright condition. The spine ends and corners of the book covers have some beginning bumping and rubbing. The text pages are clean and bright. The dust jacket has a couple of small semi-closed tears and associated wrinkling. The spine of the dust jacket has fading and there is some generalized ground-in dirt as well. "Eric Gurney (1910–1992) was a Canadian-American cartoonist and illustrator. He emigrated to the USA in 1938 to work with The Walt Disney Company, where he was a story writer and a collaborator on several classic Disney films. Turning freelance in 1948, he did cartoon illustrations for magazines and advertising campaigns. Gurney is well known for his humorous illustrations in books for children and adults. He received the National Cartoonists Society Advertising and Illustration Award for 1961 and 1971 for his work." .
