India: Lustre Press, 1990. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. R.K. Laxman. Set consists of two books with brown boards with gilt lettering to the front covers and spines. The slipcase is red paper over cardboard with ivory illustrations and gilt lettering on the spine and front cover. Books have mild rubbing to the corners and head and heels of the spine. There is a gift inscription at the top of both books title page. Kalighat to Calcutta has light spotting to the bottom of a couple of pages, text is not effected. Slip case has some cornerwear and rubbing along the top and bottom, else clean with no breaks or tears. Published for The Manjushree Foundation.
