By 1844, a great migration was in progress a people found was to be prepared for a trip over the California trail. This book describes the trail's year-by-year changes as weather conditions, new exploration, and better preparation by the settlers to complete the journey. This book tells how to travel it, what it felt like, and what was feared and hoped for. A clean very presentable copy.
