About This Item

The First UK printing published by The Egoist Press, London in 1919. The BOOK is in Very Good++ condition with marbled wrappers over flexible boards. A printed label to the front cover. The spine is faded and very slightly chipped at the spine ends. Lower rear corner is rubbed. The cover label is complete but a little age marked. The binding is tight and the book is clean internally. The book has been signed (without dedication) to the title page by the author. The book is protected in a loose Mylar archival cover. The author's second regularly published work. One of only 1000 copies printed, of which 121 copies were distributed gratis, 707 paid for and 84 eventually remaindered (Pound & Grover, A3). Scarce with such attributes. Ashton Rare Books welcomes direct contact.
