University of Guelph, 2008. Postcard. Very Good. Unmarked. 3 postcard invitations, each with a different image. Each card measure 4.75 x 6.5 inches. Information about the event on the back. The exhibit was on display in the McLaughlin Library Sept. 29 to Oct. 24, 2008. The exhibit is named for the controversial literary work Fragments of Ancient Poetry, published in 1760 by James Macpherson, who claimed it was the translation of an epic poem by third-century Celtic bard Ossian.
