Paris: Charles-La Vauzelle and Co. Military Publishers, 1927. First Edition in English. Wraps. Brown wraps, red and black lettering on front cover and spine, 8vo, 160 pp. plus 4 fold-out maps at rear. Illustrated with photographs. A history of the military operations around Verdun in World War I. Passaga was Commanding General of the 32nd Army Corp of the French Army, and commanded American troops, including the Yankee Division and the actions of the 104th Infantry at Apremont. Stated 1st Edition on both the front cover and title page, this work was translated from the French by Captain J. L. E. Cuny and Major A. G. Kenchington. No marks in book, binding tight and maps in very nice condition. Covers show minor chipping to rear cover and to top and bottom of spine. Uncommon in the English translation. Book condition VG-.
