Milwaukee: Kalmbach Publishing Company. Near Fine in Good dust jacket. 1961. First Edition. Hardcover. Primiarly a photo-essay devoted to these wonderful Canadian machines, the editor has assembled vintage B&W photos capturing the bygone years of Canada's steam locomotives. Many photos are double-page, and all have captions; there is also a forward by the editor. Original red leatherette covers with dark gilt spine lettering and blind-stamped decoration on the front cover. This is a nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings, no previous owner names and no bookplates. The cover has some marginal tears, else it is in useful condition. Presumed 1st edition as there is no information to the contrary. ; B&W Photos; 4to 11" - 13" tall; Unpaginated pages .
