Light wear to covers, lower portion of front board slightly faded, else very good. 112 pp. text with 15 monochrome illustrations, followed by the facsimile reproduced in collotype on 12 plates (2-sided); quarto, maroon cloth with cover title and ornament in gilt and blind.

"The Song of Virtue and Sciences." Extensive study and analysis with monochrome facsimile of the mid 14th-century illuminated manuscript written by Bartolomeo di Bartoli and illustrated by Nicola da Bologna for Brizio, son of Luchino Visconti, Lord of Milan.
