About This Item
New York: Random House, 1958. Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. Fifth Printing. Fine in a Near Fine jacket, unclipped ($3.75), lightly rubbed at the surface and edges. Blue cloth with blue ink and silver gilt lettering on the spine. Square and firmly bound with a faded top stain, clean internally. A work meant to "arouse [readers] to the real and present dangers [they] now face, from inflation and from the progressive socialization of [the] economy" while arguing for a capitalistic redistribution of wealth in order to protect democracy.
