This is one of few copies of the First Hardcover Edition/First Printing still available online and is in especially fine condition: Clean, crisp, and bright. Please note: Random House indicated its first editions at the time with the statement ("First Edition") and a number line that begins or ends in the Number 2. Copies available online have serious flaws (because the book has been pored over) or are in multiple subsequent printings. This is surely an accessible and lovely alternative. A scarce copy thus.
