About This Item
London, United Kingdom: Michael Joseph, 1941. Bound in the publishers light yellow coloured cloth with contrasting blue title lettering to spine. This is the first edition which is duly stated as such on the verso of the title page. All pages are present and correct with no inscriptions and are tightly bound. Light overall wear and signs of handling to the cloth binding but a nice enough copy nontheless. Housed in the powerful, nautically illustrated dustwrapper with publishers printed price intact on front inside flap. Dustwrapper has loss to front and back and head and tail of spine but remains a decent example of the rare surviving dustwrapper. Protected in a removable archival booksleeve to preserve its condition. A more than acceptable and presentable copy of a scarce early Forester title. . First Edition. Cloth. Very Good/Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. FIRST EDITION.
