Recent quarter leather, gilt spine titles, cloth sides, marbled endpapers. Ex-library copy with stamp and number on the title page; general soil throughout, esp. the title, and a few closed marginal tears (no loss). Scarce. The first books on the automobile appeared in English in 1896; this is one of them.
