Vintage paperback, Avon 734; one of Cheyney's World War II spy novels, this one featuring a Chicago gangster recruited for a suicide mission in Nazi Germany in 1945; reprints Avon 123; text is clean, tight, square, age-tanned in considerably worn but whole pictorial wrappers showing ballpoint initials "HR" on lower left corner of front cover, creasing, bumped corners and light soiling. More scarce than earlier edition.
