About This Item
First Edition; A Near Fine book in a Very Good dust jacket. SIGNED receipt laid in; this receipt signed by Gardner, the receipt for payment from the publisher Frank Munsey for Gardner's story "Where Angels Fear to Tread", a unique piece of signed ephemera, nicely enhancing this first edition Perry Mason mystery. This copy is in near fine condition with light rubbing to the edges, some darkening to the rear pastedown, a number stamp to the rear free paper, and a slight slant to the binding. Housed in a sharp and clean very good or better dust jacket that shows some mild rubbing and creasing to the spine ends, edges, and corners and one 1" closed tear to the spine head, else near fine or better. Not remaindered, not price clipped ($2.00 intact), not ex-library; in a protective Mylar sleeve and will ship carefully wrapped in a sturdy box.
