Casimir IV was the king of Poland for nearly 50 years at the end of the 15th-century best remembered for his conquering of the Teutons in the Thirteen Years War. French author and historian Michel Rousseau de Valette wrote a 17th-century account of the reign of Casimir IV – a history that has proved to be one of the best and most thorough on the second half of 15th-century Poland.
This first tome from the 1679 edition was published in Paris by Barbin.
