About This Item
London: Cassell & Company, Ltd.. Very Good with no dust jacket. First Edition. Hardcover. A handsome set, bound in dark blue leather or leatherette, embossed with three beautiful emblems. All three volumes are sound and clean. The first two olumes were published in 1904 and the third one in 1905. All three have foxing noticeable on the endpapers and edges. The third volume is more heavily foxed thatn the other two. I don't see foxing on the pages of the text, which are a sturdy coated paper. No other printings are mentioned. This large and heavy set is not suitable for international shipping, due to weight. Fast shipping in a sturdy box, with tracking included. .
