California: Benicia Agricultural Works, 1902. Undetermined. near fine. 334pp. Octavo. Card wrappers covered in red cloth. Black lettering on front cover. Slight soiling to wrappers with mild rippling, wear and fraying near edges. All outer edges of text block are red, with a small amount of soiling/light foxing. Decorative endpapers. Affixed to front attached endpaper, as issued, is a blank "to: ___ " sticker compliments of Baker & Hamilton. Text block is clean and tight through out with many B/W illustrations. A great copy. near fine No. 48 Trade Catalogue of Baker and Hamilton. Issued near the turn of the century this catalogue shows some very interesting "new technology" related to agriculture and vehicles. At the time they were the largest and best known of all distributers on the west coast and got their beginning during the gold rush era in Sacramento. The catalogue also illustrates some great steam and horse drawn equipment as well as their line of buggies and wagons. 1902
