New York: Duell, Sloan and Pearce, 1949. First edition, stated first printing. Historical fiction set in Vermont during the American Revolution. Rust colored cloth, color illustrated dustjacket. Edgewear and minor fraying to the spine ends, good hinges, sound text block, clean pages free from names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped and has considerable rubbing and fading, surface soild, minor edge chips and closed tears, little paper loss.. First Edition, First Printing. Hard Cover. Good/Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
