24mo (5 5/8" x 3 5/8"); 36pp; stiff green wrapper, title and imprint on front within a decorative border and vignette of a child holding a book and a church steeple in the distance; rear wrapper publisher's ad for "Question Books"; title page has ownership in neat ink above the title "Margaret Duncan Trowbridge, from her Grandmother M.D. Baldwin 1850"; crease to front wrapper and light hand-soiling, chipping of wrapper spine and separation at fold, binding tight; very good minus. OCLC locates 5 copies from this year, including at AAS. A question-and-answer style catechism book meant to be studied and memorized for religious instruction in churches. Baldwin of the New England Historical Genealogical Society, published Boston 1914.
