About This Item
Philadelphia: David McKay. Very Good in Fair dust jacket. 1911. First Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. A clean, tight copy, with slight wear to the bottom of the boards, but no markings or signs of use in the text. The pages have toned to a creamy beige. The illustrations are charming, and the endpapers are a delight. The front board is pictorial, and very bright. The jacket is intact at the back, intact with chipping at the front, almost nonexistent at the spine. A mylar Brodart cover keeps it together. Although this is not mentioned in her Wikipedia biography, I have read elsewhere that Farmer pioneered the modern recipe format, with a list of ingredients at the front followed by instructions. Fast shipping, with tracking number provided. ; 240 pages .
