Published to accompany the exhibit of the same name at The Armand Hammer Museum of Art and Cultural Center, Los Angeles California. This is the large format trade paperback edition. Includes an overview history of the Russian monarchy and Catherine the Great, as well as full color photos of the exhibitions. Included are several costumes and uniforms of the time, fine arts, applied arts, commemorative medals, and the literary publications of the era. Also included is a list of the artists, bibliography, and museum inventory numbers.
There is a small spot on the back cover where some of the cover varnish has been lifted when a price sticker was removed - no damage to the cover - just a removal of the cover coating - measures about 1" square. No former ownership marks, no writing, no creases to the cover or spine, no bumps to the corners. This is not a remainder, not a library copy. As is the case for all of our listings, the attached photos are of the copy we have in our inventory, not stock photos.
