This is a 1951 reprint of his 1936 book on Henry Miller the famous California Cattle King and owner of Miller & Lux.Treadwell was Millers lawyer and so had insight into the vast workings of him empire. Miller at one time owned over a million acres in California as well as other states. It was said that he never had to sleep a night on land he didn't own between California, Oregon, and Nevada. Millers life had it's up and downs and Treadwell covers it all. A great read.
